Florida Keys Concert Association bringing beautiful music to the Keys since 1969

50 Years of great music!

The Florida Keys Concert Association was formed in 1969 under the name of the Middle Keys Concert Association, whose purpose was to bring classical music concerts to the Marathon area.  Originally, concerts were held at the Kirk of the Keys Presbyterian Church.  At the time, there was no air conditioning and musicians had to compete with bugs, highway noise, planes landing and taking off from the airport across the street, and sirens from the fire trucks and ambulances housed in a nearby station.  Despite the venue’s shortcomings, outstanding musical groups from around the world have performed to the delight of hundreds of patrons.

Since then, concerts have been held at San Pablo Catholic Church or the performing arts center at Marathon H. S., depending on the size of the group.  With the hard work of our volunteers, ticket sales and donations we have been able to purchase not only our Petrof piano, but also our Steinway Concert Grand piano that are used by our artists.

In 2010 the Middle Keys Concert Association welcomed former members of the South Florida Center for the Arts, expanding its classical music presentations to another venue.  Islamorada and the Middle Keys Concert Association officially became the Florida Keys Concert Association.  With two venues and greater audience attendance, it has become easier to attract nationally and internationally acclaimed performers.

From 1969 to this date, the Association has been managed by volunteers.  All revenues go directly to producing our concerts.  Due to these efforts, the Association has brought beautiful music to the Keys for 50 years.

The Florida Keys Concert Association is a 501 (c)3 corporation, your generous donation goes directly to bringing beautiful music to beautiful places.

Join us as we head into our 50th consecutive season.

We are so lucky to see Arsht quality internationally acclaimed artists without having to go ``off the rock`` and at such reasonable prices in a comfortable venue. I look forward to seeing friends there every winter.

I attended nearly all of the preformances given for the winter, 2018 season of the Florida Keys Concert Association. This was the first time in 27 years that I took the opportunity to enjoy these talented musicians, vocalists, every Monday night.

What an enriching experience each time. I look forward to another season of the delightful evenings and beautiful music. Thank you, Thank you.
